Lo, do I see my father, Lo do I see my mother, and my sisters, and my brothers, Lo, there do I see the line of my people, back to the beginning, Lo, they do call to me, they bid me take my place among them, In the halls of Valhalla, where the brave may live.......forever.
--To the Fallen, rest well our brothers.

- Lt Gen Alfred M. Gray

We must remember that one man is much the same as another, and that he is best who is trained in the severest school."

Of every thousand men, a hundred shouldn't even be there, Eight-hundred are nothing but targets, Ninety are real fighters... Nine can lead. We are lucky to have them...They make the battle, Ah but the One, One of them is a Warrior...and He will bring the others back.

Amerkukri Eskrima $1,195.00

This blade originally named Amerkukri was until recently called by our staff the Sayoc Kali Eskrima. We received a rash of spam over the Sayoc name which we investigated in depth. A concerned handful of enthusiasts observing the obscure filipino based cutlery practice may have been offended. To ammend this offense we have reverted to the orginally intended name description for this knife. Preliminary research revealed some not so subtle differances between the Amerkukri Eskrima and disputed copies. Steel composition, production cutting method, tempering and quenching procedures were at the forefront of the disparities. A quick tour over to Tom Brown's tracker site will reveal blatant differances from this blade as well. Size, shape and tempering coupled with custom handforging seperate these blades from the mass produced assembly line copies. Any resemblance to these models is clearly for obvious reasons not intended.

This was the overall favorite in the fixed blade department. We were looking for a versatile blade for in-theatre operatives needing a Kali style unit with improved features for everyday use. RangerMade Associates was directly involved in the design for this Eskrima working in the Northern Rocky Mountain region with their custom bladesmith. It was designd by American mercinaries with specific needs. It comes from a modification of the traditional fighting survival blade. It was lengthened to add a slight tendency toward head weight. The head end was also enhanced to improve the cutting potential of all four edges. The edge is a combination chisel/axe grind depending where you are at on the blade. The saw teeth were reversed to discourage over penetration. It comes with a standard blood groove on one side only. The handle has an oriental para-wrap capped with end spike. The Rockwell of this high carbon steel balances hardness without compromising field sharpening capacity.

Overall blade length is 71/4''X 1 5/8''. The rough finish and acid etching give a 18th century tactical appearance that only add to the aesthetics of this beautiful piece. Blades are hand forged in Northern Montana by the industries finest custom bladesmiths and we applaud this masterpiece in tactical combat cutlery. Custom front loading kydex snap sheath not included. There is a waiting period on these units and are special order only. Please call for availability.
